LCX LA: Gabrielle Gamboa, Crystal Gonzalez, Eric Gonzalez & Erich Haeger, Christian Ramirez and Carlos Saldaña

Appearing at the upcoming LATINO COMICS EXPO LOS ANGELES 2013

Gabrielle Gamboa, cartoonist and art instructor. Gabrielle's work includes her many zines and comics, including her adaptation of Nathaniel West's MISS LONELY HEARTS

Crystal Gonzalez is the creator of the comic book series IN THE DARK. She also creates animated shorts and exhibits her paintings and illustrations in gallery shows.

Eric Gonzalez and Erich Haeger creators of the bilingual storybook, ROSITA Y CONCHITA. In addition to their individual art projects, they've both contributed to the art books MONSTER MYTHOS and DEUS LIBRIS.

Christian Ramirez, writer, filmmaker and founder of Winestone Entertainment. Christian is the writer of their comic book series, AMERICANA.

Carlos Saldaña, cartoonist and stand-up comedian. Carlos is the creator of the all-ages BURRITO comic book series. In addition to his comics work, Carlos also produces animated shorts featuring his characters.

The Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles will be held the weekend of August 17 & 18 at the Museum of Latin American Art. The event runs from 11am-5pm, both days.

In addition to the exhibit hall featuring over 50 cartoonists, writers, illustrators, zine makers, book vendors and more, the Expo will feature 2 days of panels and children's workshops (on Sunday).

MOLAA is located at 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Admission to the Museum grants you entry to the Expo.
