LCX LA: Michael Aushenker, Javier Hernandez, Pepe Melan, Daniel Parada & Ultimo Dragon.Com

Appearing at the upcoming LATINO COMICS EXPO LOS ANGELES 2013

Michael Aushenker, cartoonist of the masked luchador humor comic EL GATO CRIME MANGLER, is also the Editor-in-Chief of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF THE HUMAN FLY, the revival of the classic 1970s Marvel Comic superhero stuntman.



Javier Hernandez, creator of El Muerto and Co-founder/Creative Director of the Latino Comics Expo, will be debuting his new book THE LOS COMEX CODEX at the Expo.


Pepe Melan is a freelance artist and graphic designer whose clients include Prince and the animated series P.J. Funny Bunny.


Daniel Parada is the creator of the comic book series ZOTZ, an alternate-history saga featuring Maya twin brothers in the midst of a large Mesoamerican war. Issue #2 will debut at the Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles.

Ultimo Dragon.Com, the online home of the legendary Japanese luchador, will be represented at the Expo by manager Gary Lee Jackson and writer Dan Madigan. Madigan is writing the graphic novel series based on Ultimo Dragon, as well as having authored a popular book on Lucha Libre MONDO LUCHA A GO-GO.




The Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles will be held the weekend of August 17 & 18 at the Museum of Latin American Art. The event runs from 11am-5pm, both days.

In addition to the exhibit hall featuring over 50 cartoonists, writers, illustrators, zine makers, book vendors and more, the Expo will feature 2 days of panels and children's workshops (on Sunday).

MOLAA is located at 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Admission to the Museum grants you entry to the Expo.
