Carlos Saldaña, Dave Ortega, Jav Solo and Enkyskulls at the LCX 2016!

Meet the talent joining us this year at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA this August 6 & 7.

Carlos Saldaña is a pioneering cartoonist who in the early 90s was part of a wave of DIY Latino comics creators. His signature character is Burrito, a scrappy adventurer who never says no to adventure.

Dave Ortega is an award winning arts instructor and cartoonist. His extensive catalog features "Abuela Y Los Dead Mexicans" and work in the 2012 BEST AMERICAN COMICS anthology. He joins us for his first Latino Comics Expo this year.

Jav Solo is a designer and illustrator from East LA. His work draws from Chicano culture, comics and wrestling, from both sides of the U.S./Mexican border.

Enkyskulls is a design and toy making brand run by Steve Guerra and Jessica Miranda. Their creations are hand-crafted and made in Los Angeles. They also organize numerous art shows throughout the year in addition to exhibiting on an extensive convention schedule.

The Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles will be held the weekend of August 6 & 7 at the Museum of Latin American Art. The event runs from 11am-5pm, both days.
