Richard Dominguez, Jose Cabrera, Axel Ortiz & Walter De Leon at the LCX 2016!

Meet the talent joining us this year at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA this August 6 & 7.



Richard Dominguez is the creator of EL GATO NEGRO, one of the early wave of 1990s self-published Latino comic book characters. Richard is a returning alumni to the Latino Comics Expo.

Jose Cabrera, is an illustrator and cartoonist. In addition to his prolific and eclectic series of digital art, Jose is the Graphic Designer of the Latino Comics Expo, having designed our logo for our first show back in 2011.


Axel Ortiz is a conceptual designer and art director based in Los Angeles who has worked in the entertainment industry for the past 15 plus years. He joins us this year for his first Latino Comics Expo

Walter De Leon has worked in the animation and video game industries, and has launched his own line of children's books published under his banner, Voolah Voolah Press. He's also joining us for his first Latino Comics Expo this year. 


The Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles will be held the weekend of August 6 & 7 at the Museum of Latin American Art. The event runs from 11am-5pm, both days.


MOLAA is located at 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Admission to the Museum grants you entry to the Expo, panels & workshops.

Keith Rainville, Matt Wallace, J. Gonzo & John Narcomey at the LCX 2016!

Meet the talent joining us this year at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA this August 6 & 7.



Keith Rainville, publisher of the classic lucha libre zine FROM PARTS UNKNOWN and screenwriter of LOS CAMPEONES DE LA LUCHA LIBRE. Keith will be conducting a panel on Saturday, August 6, titled "Lucha-heroes in the Age of Tentpole Cinematic Universes".


Matt Wallace, former professional wrestler and writer of RENCOR, a lucha libre novella. Matt will be selling and signing the only print copies of his new book exclusively at the Expo.


J. Gonzo is a freelance Designer and Creative Director. He's also the creator of the lucha libre comic book series LA MANO DEL DESTINO which he publishes through his own imprint, CASTLE & KEY PUBLICATIONS.
 

John Narcomey is a cartoonist and the proprietor of DRAW HARD STUDIO. Among the many titles he worked on included GHOST FACE, JUNGLE JIVE and his latest creator-owned work, the urban lucha libre saga CHOLO LIBRE.
